Patricia Evelyn “Pat” (Thompson) Shelton, 83, of Vevay, Indiana, died June 4, 2013 at her home.
She was born the daughter of Arnold L. and Theresa T. (Wussler) Thompson on December 11, 1929, in Clark County, Missouri.
Pat was raised in Wayland, Missouri, where she attended school. Pat married Donald C. Shelton on June 5, 1947, in Troy, Kansas. The Sheltons shared 66 loving years of marriage together. They resided the past 21 years in Switzerland County, Indiana. She was a wonderful homemaker & enjoyed raising her family. Pat will be remembered for her love of fishing, crocheting & enjoying flowers. Pat was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother & sister.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Louise Covington and Mary Ann Kuntz; an infant-daughter, Linda Mae Shelton; son, Donald “Rick” Shelton; an infant-son, Tracy Shelton; grandson, Robert Ross Richards; great-grandson, Cayden Foster; sisters, Arnolda Thompson and Mary Ann Thompson.
She is survived by her loving husband, Donald C. Shelton of the home; daughters, Theresa McAdams of Aurora, IN, Nancy Donegan of Vevay, Tina Gutapfel and husband Dan of Sunman, IN, Susan Shelton of Madison, IN, Laura Tice and husband John of Vevay; her sons, Kenneth E. Shelton of Vevay, Paul W. Shelton and wife Chris of Alvin, TX, Marvin D. Shelton and his wife Hyong Sun of Fort Hood, TX; sister, Eleanora Hudson of Carthage, IL; 26 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Monday, June 10, 2013, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home in Vevay with the Rev. Ron Lee officiating.
Visitation is from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Sunday, June 9, 2013, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at the Memphis Cemetery, Memphis, Missouri with Dan Hite, pastor of the Memphis First Baptist Church, officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Charity of the Donor’s Choice.
