Sue Ann Murphy, 79, of Fulton, formerly of Wyaconda, died Monday, September 25, 2017 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.
She was born the daughter of Eric L. and Della Mae (Parker) Reeser in Louisville, KY on November 23, 1937. Sue was a 1954 graduate of the West Point (KY) High School and a graduate of the 1959 Nursing Class from the St. Anthony School of Nursing.
Sue married Billy L. Murphy on October 14, 1959. He preceded her in death on December 20, 1991. She had met Bill while he was in the Air Force, stationed at Ft. Knox, KY.

She enjoyed gardening, her flowers and tending to her yard. Sue played online games to keep her mind sharp. She was a woman of faith and spent time studying the Word. You could find her prayers and notes taped to walls and mirrors around her home.
Sue treasured spending time with her family, especially at Thanksgiving and July 4th gatherings. She will always be remembered for her home-made egg nog, ice cream and candies that she shared every Thanksgiving.

Sandy, may the God of all comfort wrap His love around you and your family. God’s promises are sure and true. He shall wipe away all tears from our eyes, and one day there shall be no more death, no sorrow, no pain! What a glorious life your mom has stepped in to! We love you! Jerry and Dana Spires

Our thoughts and prayers for the whole family. We are so very sorry for your loss. Sue was a wonderful woman and she’s going to be missed. Lots of love to the family
We will miss Sue’s verve and love of life, and grieve with those who miss her most–but, oh! The life she is living now! What joy and glory she has found in the arms of her Lord Jesus!
May God bless you and your family during this difficult time. Your mother was a wonderful person and will truly be missed. Wish I could be with you and your family in Wyaconda but I can’t. My prayers and thoughts will be with you. You are a part of my family so you are not alone. I will come after the services when I am able to be there. She will now have everlasting life with our Savior and how glorious that will be. And one day, you will see her again.
