Emma K. (Regnold) Penrod, 93, of Belton, MO, formerly of Memphis and Milton, IA, died Friday, November 25, 2011 at the Beautiful Savior Home in Belton.
She was born the daughter of John and Della Mae (Reno) Stice on April 8, 1918 in Memphis.
Emma attended school in Memphis before marrying Quenton Regnold in 1937. He preceded her in death in 1953.
She later married Paul Penrod, and the couple lived in Milton, IA, until Paul’s death.
Emma then returned to Memphisbefore moving to Beautiful Savior in 2001.
She enjoyed walking, going out for social activities and in her earlier years she enjoyed sewing for her family. Emma enjoyed laughter.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, parents, seven brothers and sisters, a daughter, Betty Miller, and a granddaughter, Mary Evelyn Morgan.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary Skarie and Sandra Crofton; three sisters; grandchildren, David Rude, Ginger Newsom, Brenda Irvin, Bill Kays, Christina Barber, Michelle Alanis, Woodruff Nelson, Jimmie Nicewanner, Penny Jean Shadle, Virginia Marie Shields, Arthur Dean Nicewanner, and Tammy Lynn Bulman; many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and three great great great grandchildren.
