Larry Lee Graber, 74, of Downing died February 13, 2024 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy.
He was born the son of Charles and Dorothy (Head) Graber on December 1, 1949 in Ottumwa
Larry graduated from Valley High School and then enlisted in the United States Navy.
He enjoyed being with family and watching football on weekends. The Nebraska Cornhuskers were his favorite team.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Ronnie, Terry and Danny; a sister, Carol Ann, in infancy; a great nephew, Jacob Dickmeyer; great-great niece, Whitney Star Baird.
He is survived by his sister, Charlotte (Ellis) Speer of Downing; sisters-in-law, Anita Graber and Jan Graber, both of Nebraska; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

My deepest sympathy in the loss of Larry.
When I hear the song “You & me and a dog named Boo” I always think of him. I still think of Charles & Dorothy after all these decades as well.
