Wanda Lou “Snookie” (Edwards) Gosney, 69, of Memphis died at 6:35 p.m. on June 7, 2024.
She is survived by: her husband of 46 years, Roger; children: Travis (Natalie) Gosney, Kara Gosney, Allison (Lance) Campbell, Evan (Kayla) Gosney; grandchildren: Zack, Hailey, Austin, Mikayla, Chase, Braylon, Emalyn, Rylan, Kaden and Easton; and her life-long best friend, Wendy.
She was preceded in death by grandson, Brody Schoonover Gosney.
Snookie loved big.
She loved her family; she would probably say grandkids most. She loved her friends. She loved her many animals, Franklin being her last left at home. She loved laughing and could make the sourest person laugh once she started. She loved watching TV. She loved shopping for others…a lot. She loved cooking and was amazing at it. She loved reading. She loved sewing, crocheting, cross-stitching, quilting, painting canvas and ceramics, making stained glass, really creating in any form. She loved listening to the piano play. She loved Christmas lights. She loved driving, and would go anywhere she needed to help, or visit, someone at a moment’s notice.
Most of all, she loved Jesus passionately, and she gifted that love to us. Though we know where she is, and Whom she’s with, she will be greatly missed here.

Roger and family,
So sorry for your loss
I have such fond memories of my shopping expeditions with Snookie and the time we went to the movie in Kirksville and ended up staying for the second movie. What fun. We laughed all the way home as we couldn’t believe how late it was.
She will be greatly missed!
